Hey there, I’m Heidi! Ever since last summer, I’ve been scribbling down my thoughts on paper. Going through a challenging time in my life led me to explore something new, and it dawned on me that I wanted to pursue writing in some form. Words do flow here. Although I’m still figuring out my writing style, I deeply love poetry, prose, journaling, and writing articles about curiosity, self-reflection, personal growth, and kindness.
I started this blog to kickstart my writing journey and have something to share with the people I meet and the stories I come across. It’s my outlet to connect with others through words and to capture the beauty of those fleeting moments.
Don't miss a single post. ❤︎
I can’t say the lifestyle I want to live is according to societal norms. The challenges I have faced have charted the trajectory of my unique journey. My aspiration encompasses a captivating voyage across diverse cultures, wonders, and invaluable treasures in the form of a home-transformed van.
The idea of connecting with people from diverse cultures fascinates me. As someone who listens attentively, I find great joy in hearing people’s stories and capturing these meaningful encounters through my writings, both in person and here on my blog, to share with others.
Here’s how I have decided to publish my work and how you can support me on this journey:
- I’ll share a small update on my Substack every Friday, reflecting on my week’s insights.
- Every Wednesday, you can find a new thought-provoking article on my blog at heidiuskaure.com.
- Over on Instagram, I aim to publish poetry or prose a couple of times a week [@heidiuskaure] for more of my writings.

After the summer vacation, it has taken some time for me to catch up with my writing. I'm sure many of you feel the same; it takes time to get back into routines. In the fast-paced world of modern work, where to-do lists seem endless, and deadlines constantly loom,...
When life sucks you under, you can kick against the bottom, break the surface, and breathe again. You choose. It is the hard days—the times that challenge you to your very core—that will determine who you are. You will be defined not just by what you achieve, but by how you survive.”
